Competition

Fancy the idea of showing off your cooking skills?! The Speciality Cheese Information Bureau (SCIB) are looking for cooks from every walk of life, be it housewives, students, teachers, professionals or budding chefs to create a unique cheese dish of their own!

We are inviting listeners to enter their favourite recipes, to be judged by top London chef, author of ‘A Passion For Cheese’ and Speciality Cheese Bureau spokesperson Paul Gayler. Currently Executive Chef at London’s Lanesborough Hotel Paul is renowned for his vast knowledge of the cheese industry.

The best recipes will then be selected to take part in a thrilling cook off with Paul Gayler, at a top London location. This fantastic opportunity could be the perfect stepping stone for those looking for a break into the industry, or just to gain the confidence to cook at a higher level!

To stand a chance of winning, the recipes must include any one of the following speciality cheeses: Leerdammer, Sparkenhoe Red Leicester, Jarlsberg, Dolcelatte, Soignon Goats Cheese, Saint Agur, Coloured Cheshire, Le Gruyere, Edam and Shirevale White Stilton.  Therefore, we are looking for your listener’s favourite cheesy culinary ideas and inspiration. If your recipe makes it to the grand final, it will also be photographed with a chance of being published in magazines, newspapers and online.

The lucky overall winner will also win dinner for two at the Lanesborough, cooked specially by Paul Gayler, while the runners up will win a luxury tea for two.

To enter your recipes simply email cheese@beattiegroup.com or send them to:
